Setting up a Red Escudo rests on a few paper documents: the signage that goes to the printer, and the handouts given in person when someone signs up or when it helps to have the protocol in plain sight. This is where the print-ready files live.
Ready to print#
The signage designs are finished and available as vector original (SVG) and high resolution (PNG). The detail of each piece — where it goes, in what material — is in Signs and stickers.
| Document | Use | Files |
|---|---|---|
| Sticker | Window, door or letterbox of a member household | SVG · PNG |
| Plaque | Wall, corner or lamppost, durable outdoors | SVG · PNG |
| Entrance sign | Village approaches, road-sign format | SVG · PNG |
These carry 999 · 112. The Spanish set, with 062 Guardia Civil · 112 Emergencias, is also ready to print: sticker · plaque · entrance sign. Put your own country’s numbers on before printing either set.
In preparation#
These handouts are being written from the model’s content and will be published here as print-ready PDFs. In the meantime, their content can already be read in the corresponding sections.
| Document | What it is | Source |
|---|---|---|
| The Carta Escudo | The founding charter: principles and membership rules, to sign on joining | In preparation |
| Sign-up sheet | Form to enrol a person in the network, with data consent | In preparation |
| Pocket protocol | A card with the rules of engagement in brief: observe and report, call the emergency services first | See the Protocols |
The sign-up sheet collects personal and vulnerability data, so its design will include the consent and data-protection information the law requires.
